Wagner College will promote assistant coach Bashir Mason to replace Danny Hurley who departed for URI. According to sources, Mason sent a text around 7:00 tonight to some close associates announcing the news. Mason has been with Hurley for two seasons at Wagner, and was an assistant at Marist before that. He played at St. Benedict’s for Hurley. An official announcement is expected tomorrow.
