West Virginia Wesleyan College and head basketball coach Gary Nottingham have agreed that he will no longer serve as the college’s men’s head basketball coach.

In a statement released today, the school said:

Wesleyan appreciates Coach Nottingham’s contributions to the basketball program during the past 2 ½ seasons and we wish him all of the best in his future pursuits.

The Bobcats are currently 8-9 (5-6 Mountain East).

Wesleyan’s interim head basketball coach shall be Jack Meriwether during our transitional period.
