The Penn State Beaver Athletic Department has named Brian Bibey as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Bibey will be heading the Men’s Basketball program starting September 1, 2015.
Bringing over 10 years of coaching experience, Bibey was most recently the Head Coach at Shaler High School where he coached 3 All-Section players. Prior to the high school ranks, he spent three years as an Assistant at the NCAA Division III level with both Washington and Jefferson College and Mount Union College as well as one year in the NAIA with Saint Vincent College. Bibey also has experience at the junior college level as both a coach and athletic director, spending six years at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville.
Brian is a 1998 graduate of Carlynton High School and a 2002 graduate of Robert Morris University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and sport management, as well as a master’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania in sport management studies. Bibey currently owns his own company, Remarkable Marketing Concepts, LLC and enjoys spending time with his wife Kim as well as their two children.
