Two of our better sources are confirming that Colorado Head Coach Jeff Bzdelik is headed to Wake Forest. Bzdelik and Wake AD Ron Wellman are longtime friends – they worked together at Northwestern in the early 1980’s when Bzdelik was an assistant basketball coach and Wellman was the baseball coach. Also, Bzdelik’s youngest daughter attends Wake. As of last night, there was not an official deal in place, but it is our understanding that it will be done in the next day or so. I’ll let you know when this becomes official.
