The opening at Cal State East Bay has been a popular one. It seems like there are a ton of quality candidates involved for this job – including a bunch of DI assistants. Some of the names that I’ve heard from a great source are:

• Gus Argenal- Assistant coach Rice.

• Brandon Laird- Associate head coach Sacramento State.

• Kevin Nosek- Assistant coach UC Davis

• John Peterson- Head coach Ohlone College (CA).

• Rich Shayewitz – Associate head coach Sonoma State.

• Gary Stewart- Head coach Stevenson University (MD).

It sounds like a decision here could come as early as next week.
