Carroll College (MT) has narrowed the field to four candidates for their vacant men’s basketball position. The final four are:
• Steve Keller – Head coach Montana Western. Has compiled a 121-73 at Montana Western and has also won six State Championships as a HS coach. Was an assistant at Carroll for three seasons before moving onto UMW.
• Michael Burns – Assistant coach San Diego. Former head coach at Community Colleges of Spokane and Eastern Washington. Has been on the San Diego staff for the past five seasons. Also worked for Dick Bennett at Washington State.
• Tim Cleary – Head coach Pacific University (OR). Just wrapped up his third season at Pacific – led his team to a 15-10 record this year. Spent eight seasons at Boise State and three at Cal Irvine as an assistant.
• Carson Cunningham – Head coach Andrean HS (IN). Just completed his fifth season at AHS. Has led his team to four straight sectional titles. Played collegiately at Purdue.
All four finalists will have on-campus interviews, beginning with Keller on Monday and Cleary on Tuesday. Burns and Cunningham are expected to be on campus the following week.
