While it is quiet on the rumor front, I figured I’d catch everyone up on a few things that I missed from the last few months – apparently there were a few hirings that snuck past me!

Midland College hired Matt Braeuer as an assistant coach. Brauer was a graduate assistant at Wichita State for the past two seasons. Prior to that, he was a three-year starter at the point for the Shockers.

South Eastern Illinois College has named Joshua Ervin as an assistant coach. He spent the past two years as a graduate assistant at South Alabama and played collegiately at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.

Jake Nelp was added as an assistant and Michael Ellis as the DBO at Mercer. Nelp was the basketball technology advsior at Marquette since 2008. He was also an assistant at Indiana Wesleyan for three seasons. Ellis, who played at Mercer, spent last season as a graduate assistant with in the athletic department.

Former assistant basketball coach at Hiwassee College, David Graham has been hired as the associate head coach of the Jacksonville Blue Waves (ABA). He has also been an assistant at Edward Waters College and Emmanuel (GA).

Wisconsin-Milwaukee has added Dejan Matic as their basketball academic advisor. He worked with UWM head coach Rob Jeter in the past with USA Basketball.
