I can confirm that Mark Downey will be named as an assistant at IPFW.  Downey spent last season as an assistant at Bowling Green, and has also been the head coach at West Alabama, Charleston (WVa.), Arkansas Tech, and Independence CC.  He will replace Ben Betts who became an assistant at Georgia Southern this past spring.

I can confirm that Penn State head coach Patrick Chambers has made some administrative staff moves.  It sounds like David Caporaletti as will be hired as the DBO, and Nick Colella will be added as the on-campus recruiting coordinator.  Caporaletti will replace Ross Condon who was elevated to assistant coach earlier this spring.  He has worked

Back on June 23rd, HoopDirt.com reported that North Dakota head coach Brian Jones would promote DBO Jeff Horner to assistant coach replacing Jason Shay (who departed for East Tennessee).  I can now confirm that Jones will fill the DBO spot vacated by Horner with Davenport (MI) associate head coach Craig Heatherly.  He joined the Davenport staff
