HOT RUMOR: South Florida fires Heath

Multiple sources have said that Stan Heath has been fired this afternoon at South Florida. Heath had been at USF since 2007, and had 4 years left on his deal. It sounds like he would be owed closed to $1.5M as part of his buyout. The official announcement is expected late this afternoon.

St. Cloud State finalists

The search to replace the retiring Kevin Schlagel at St. Cloud State is winding down. On-campus interviews for the three finalists will be next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 17-19. The candidates are Matt Reimer, Matt Woodley and Rodell Davis. Reimer, current St. Cloud State assistant men’s basketball coach, will interview on Monday, March 16.
