HOT RUMOR: Anderson out at Jackson State

Multiple sources have told me that Jackson State head coach Tevester Alexander will retire. He amassed 149 wins over his ten seasons at JSU. Anderson was also the head coach at Murray State (1998-2003) and served as an assistant at Georgia and Auburn. Not sure yet where this search is headed.

BREAKING: Carmody out at Northwestern

Northwestern University Vice President for Athletics and Recreation Jim Phillips has announced that Bill Carmody will not return as the head coach of the Wildcats’ men’s basketball program. Carmody compiled a 192-210 record in 13 seasons as the head coach at Northwestern, including a 13-19 mark during the 2012-13 campaign.
