Coach Craig Douma has added Jack Johnson to the Central College men’s basketball coaching staff.
           
Johnson, a 2018 Buena Vista University graduate, has served as assistant boys basketball coach at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School for the past two seasons, helping the squad post a 33-7 mark. He also served as a high school business teacher there.
           
Johnson is a Van Meter, Iowa native.
           
Central has captured 17 conference men’s basketball championships and made 11 NCAA Division III tournament appearances, most recently in 2016. The Dutch return nine letter winners on this year’s squad.
