Former college player and AAU coach Chase Brinkley has been added to the Vincennes University Men’s Basketball Team’s coaching staff for 2015-16.
Brinkley, a Paris, IL, native, will join Brian Davis on Coach Todd Franklin’s Trailblazer staff.
“I’m very honored to be a part of the Vincennes basketball family. Having played for former Vincennes standout Josh Virostko in high school, I remember hearing names such as Shawn Marion and Bob McAdoo, so I’m grateful to now have my name alongside theirs and associated with such an esteemed program,” Brinkley said. “Coach Franklin and Coach Davis have done an outstanding job of continuing the success of this historic program and I am excited to have two great coaches to learn from. I hope that I’ll be able to bring new ideas and contribute to the winning tradition here at VU.”
