Chase Campbell Named Assistant Basketball Coach at Tuskegee

Tuskegee head men’s basketball coach Jerry Dunn has hired Chase Campbell as the new assistant men’s basketball coach.

Campbell, a Jackson, Tennessee native, brings a wealth of knowledge from previous experiences working within the Southern Intercollegiate Conference.

“Chase is a great addition to our staff and the Tuskegee Family, head men’s basketball coach Jerry Dunn said.  “He is a tireless worker who is very familiar with the SIAC and the Southeast Region which is our primary recruiting area. His ability to communicate and connect with people makes him a valuable asset to our program,” Dunn Stated.

Prior to his arrival at Tuskegee, Campbell served as an assistant at Benedict College, where he was the associate head coach and was responsible for coaching the big men. He groomed Brandon Morris, a former SIAC player of the year and newcomer of the year. Prior to his arrival at Benedict , Campbell was the head coach at Paine College where he also spent time as an assistant.

At Paine, he coach former player of the year and newcomer of the year Denzel Dillingham. Prior to Paine, Campbell served an assistant coach at Newberry College where their offense was ranked #4 in scoring while he was on staff.

Campbell has been recognized as a unique recruiter and player developer being able to identify talent and connect with players and their families, especially in the South. He earned his undergraduate degree from Paine in 2012
