Conway Named Assistant Basketball Coach at Albright College

Chris Conway has been named an assistant coach on the Albright men’s basketball coaching staff Lions head coach Rick Ferry announced on Tuesday.

Conway was a four-year letterwinner at York (Pa.) and a two-time team captain.

Conway played in a career-best 25 games during his junior season and in 24 games last year for the Spartans. He averaged a career-best 5.6 points per game last season and tied his career high of 15 points in the Spartans contest against Christopher Newport. He also scored 15 points against Mary Washington during his junior season.

He was named the Iron Spartan Award winner, which is presented for preseason strength and conditioning, three times during his career and also was the winner of the Spartan of the Year award on three occasions. Conway also served as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representing the men’s basketball program.

Conway attended York after graduating from Dulaney High School in Lutherville, Md. He was the Lions team captain during his senior season and was named to the Baltimore County All-Academic team as both a junior and a senior. He also was named in alternate in the Baltimore County Senior All-Star game.

Conway earned degree in public relations from York in 2016.
