A lay-up by junior guard Kevin Walker (Bayonne, NJ/St. Peter’s Prep) with 2.6 seconds remaining in overtime lifted the Caldwell College men’s basketball team to a 76-74 victory over USciences Saturday afternoon at Morgan Arena. The win is the 500th career victory for head coach Mark Corino, who becomes the third men’s college basketball coach in New Jersey to win 500 games.

Corino joins current Richard Stockton College coach Gerry Matthews (548) and Princeton University legend Pete Carril (514) as the only men’s college basketball coaches in New Jersey to win 500 games.
