I can confirm that Shawn Walker has resigned as the head men’s basketball coach at D2 Allen University (SC).
Walker, the former head coach at Grambling State, had been in charge at Allen since 2023. The coaching veteran has also served as the head coach at Elizabeth City State (two separate stints), and Vorhees College.
There has been no official announcement yet by the University, but I have heard that interviews are already underway.
