I can confirm through a great source that Matt Collier is out as the head basketball coach at D2 Queens (NY).
Collier, a Queens native, just wrapped up his his ninth season as the Knights head coach. Collier led the Knights to five ECC postseason appearances, highlighted by a 2024–25 run to the conference semifinals—the program’s best finish since 2010–11. Queens also placed third in the ECC last season and matched its highest win (13) total since 2016–17. This past season, his team finished 8-19 (4-12).
