D2 DIRT: Parrish no longer leading Westminster U Basketball program

Story: Adam Nelson (@HD_DirtKing)

After 11 seasons as the head coach at D2 Westminster University (UT), Norm Parrish appears to be finished with the program. He has been removed from the staff directory and the men’s basketball coaches page on Westminster’s athletics website.

Parrish took over the Griffins in 2015 following a four-year stint on staff at Utah. During his tenure at Westminster, he compiled a 144–145 (.498) overall record. The Griffins currently sit at 12–15 (7–12 RMAC) and are scheduled to close out the regular season on the road today at Chadron State.

Prior to his time at Westminster and Utah, Parrish enjoyed tremendous success during a 20-year run as the head coach at Salt Lake CC, where he went 453–198 (.693) and captured the 2009 NJCAA Division I National Championship.

More on this move once an official announcement is made.
