Kendrick Saunders will not be retained as the head men’s basketball coach at D2 Seton Hill University (PA), according to AD Chris Snyder via the Westmoreland Sports Network.
Saunders had been at SHU for the past four years (three seasons – they did not play in 2020-21). During his tenure, Kendrick put together a 16-65 (.198) record, which included a 3-24 (3-19 PSAC) mark this past season.
Before being hired at Seton Hill, Saunders spent six seasons as an assistant at Navy. He also had D1 stops at Princeton and Army.
According to Snyder, a search will begin immediately.
