I can confirm through great sources that Western New Mexico will hire Zane Gibson as their new head men’s basketball coach.

Gibson has spent the past two seasons as the associate head coach at Lone Star Conference foe Texas Permian Basin. He also served as an assistant at Arkansas Fort Smith, and worked as a graduate assistant at Middle Tennessee.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
