The DIII season finally got underway last night. A bunch of DIII schools have added assistant coaches with out much fanfare – here are some guys who have recently been hired:

• Brett Foelber – Gettysburg College. A former assistant at Stevenson University and Stevenson HS (MD). The McDaniel College graduate also coached AAU in the Baltimore area.

• Eric Adams – Newbury College. Long-time operations manager for Dana Barros Basketball Camps (Barros is now the head coach at Newbury). Has coached at the DIII and HS level in the past.

• Pat Luptowski – Brandeis University. Spent last season as an assistant coach at Western New England, and also spent two seasons as the graduate assistant at Springfield College. He’s a former team captain at DII Saint Anselm College.

• Bradd Wierzbicki – SUNY Maritime. The 4th leading scorer in Queens College history. Has been playing professionally overseas since his graduation. Played in HS for current SUNY Maritime interim head coach Frank McQuail.

• Casey McGraw – New England College. A 2016 graduate of Castleton University.
