I have heard from multiple sources that Mike McSloy will be hired as the next head men’s basketball coach at Drew University (NJ).
McSloy has been the head coach at St. Joseph’s University (NY) for the past three seasons. This year, his squad finished 15-9 (11-5 Skyline), and advanced to the Skyline Conference tournament for the first time since 2016-17.
In addition to his time as a head coach, McSloy has also been an assistant at Gettysburg, NYU, Vassar, Connecticut College, and SUNY Maritime.
He will replace Darryl Keckler, who became the head coach at Moravian back in mid-May.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
