I have heard from multiple sources that D3 Elms College (MA) intends to hire Nebraska Wesleyan assistant Chris Piscioneri as their new head men’s basketball coach.

Last season was Piscioneri’s first and only season on the staff at NWU. The North Adams, MA native has previously worked as an assistant at Elmira, Castleton State, and his alma mater Mass College of Liberal Arts. Piscioneri also served as the special assistant at St. Bonaventure from 2019-21.

He will replace former head coach Rob Southall who stepped aside earlier this spring to focus on his duties as the Director of Athletics at the college. Southall had been the Blazers head coach for the past eleven seasons.

An official announcement is expected sometime next week.
