Jason Geleski is no longer the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at D3 Centenary University (NJ). He has been replaced on an interim basis by assistant coach Dirk Kelly. There has not been an official announcement, but the change is reflected in the coaches directory on Centenary’s website.
Geleski was the Cyclones head coach for the past four seasons. His best season came in 2019-20, when his team went 18-10 – which is the best record in program history. Geleski wraps up his tenure with 35-34 (.507) mark.
Before joining the CU staff back in March, Kelly had been a long-time high school basketball coach in New Jersey, where he won over 300 games in his career.
This is the second D3 job to open up in less than a week. Rivier College (NH) head coach Lance Bisson “resigned” last Friday.
