I can confirm that Todd Kelly has resigned as the head basketball coach at D3 Illinois Institute of Technology.

Kelly had been the head coach at IIT for the past six seasons where he compiled a 75-84 record, including a 12-14 (10-10) mark this past season. He inherited a zero win team back in 2014, and after struggling his first two seasons (6-44), Kelly turned the program around. He went 69-40 over the last four years, which included 4 straight post season appearances.

Kelly and his family will be relocating to a different part of the country to pursue other business opportunities.

Assistant coach Terrance Gray has been tabbed as the interim head coach.
