I can confirm that D3 Lycoming College will hire Dickinson College assistant Mark Linebaugh as their new head coach. He will replace Mike McGarvey who became an assistant at Lafayette earlier this spring.
Linebaugh joined the Dickinson staff prior to last season after a three-year stint as an assistant at D1 Rice University. Prior to his time at Rice, he served as an assistant at D3 Hobart, and also spent time as the Director of Basketball Operations at his alma mater Colgate.
Before to becoming a college coach, Linebaugh spent three years as the head coach at Annville-Cleona (PA) High School. He went 45-30 during his time there, and was named as the 2010-11 Lancaster-Lebanon League Section IV Coach of the Year.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
