I can confirm that D3 Mount Aloysius (PA) has hired Carnegie Melon assistant Pat Martinelli as their new head basketball coach.
Martinelli had been at CMU since 2023. He has also served as an assistant at Pennsylvania D3’s Chatham University and Allegheny College. The PA native is a 2017 Allegheny alum.
Martinelli, who just accepted the job yesterday, has already hit the recruiting trail as multiple recruits have already heard from him.
