I can confirm that D3 Piedmont University (GA) is open, as head coach Greg Neeley has departed to become the Director of Athletics at nearby Tallulah Falls School.
Neeley went 145-158 (.479) in his 12-seasons at Piedmont, including an 11-15 (3-9 CCS) mark this past year. Neeley also spent one season as the head coach at Warren Wilson back in 2012-13 where he wert 19-10.
This move apparently happened a few weeks ago, with no press release from Piedmont. It sounds like the search has actually been moving quickly here. Multiple sources have told me that D2 North Georgia assistant JC Cavin (a former Piedmont assistant) is the leader here.
