I can confirm through multiple sources that Stevenson University will hire Catholic University associate head coach Jack Bors as its next head men’s basketball coach, pending completion of the university HR process. He will replace Gary Stewart, who departed in late September to take over at D2 UC Merced.

Bors joined the Catholic staff in 2022 as an assistant and was promoted to associate head coach this past September. Prior to Catholic, he spent two seasons as an assistant at Ursinus College, where his responsibilities included recruiting, opponent scouting, practice planning, and skill development.

Bors who played collegiately at Bowdoin was one of two finalists to interview on campus last week for the position.
