According to a Tweet from D3 expert Bob Quillman, Wisconsin La Crosse is expected to hire current NJCAA D2 Bryant and Stratton (WI) head coach J.T. Gritzmacher to lead the Eagles program. He would replace Kent Dernbach, who departed for UW Superior after leading the La Crosse program for the past six seasons (99-46 – .683).
Gritzmacher has spent the past three seasons at Bryant and Stratton, leading his team to a 26-7 record this past season. During his tenure at BSC, he has compiled a 57-30 record. Prior to his time with the Bobcats, he worked as an assistant at Southeastern CC (IA) and Wisconsin-Whitewater, and also spent time as a graduate assistant at Longwood.
More on this move when it becomes official.
