First "Daily Dirt" of 2013! Unfortunately, not much good news here…

I can confirm that Lorain County Community College head coach Michael Cruz has resigned. Following his resignation, the school decided to cancel the rest of the season – apparently there are too many ineligible players. I have heard that Marty Eggleston has been hired as Cruz’s replacement and will begin to prepare for next season. Eggleston was an All-American at Kutztown State, and then had a long career in Europe.

Mac McConnell, the head coach at East Central University (OK)has been suspended following a DUI arrest this past weekend. ECU assistant coach Trey Hendon will take over the head coaching duties on an interim basis.
