Pretty quiet so far today. Here are a few things….

I’ve heard that Union CC has finally hired former Concordia head coach and Felician assistant Joan Sanchez. Apparently he will have some administrative duties in the athletic department as well. According to my source, he will name one of his former players as an assistant. More on this when it becomes official.

Here’s an interesting story that was passed on by one of our readers. Looks like Virginia State and their former head coach George White are locked in a battle over NCAA violations. http://www2.timesdispatch.com/sports/2011/aug/21/tdmain01-vs… Doesn’t sound like a great situation, but we wish Coach White the best.
