Daily Dirt – 10/31/11

Happy Halloween! Here is some "dirt" for the final day of October….

Pennsylvania College of Technology head coach Gene Bruno has resigned. Bruno had been at the helm since the program started in 1995. Assistant coach Tony White will assume the role of interim head coach for this season. He has been on the staff since 2009. White has hired his brother Pete, a former player at Yale, as an assistant.

Ryan Mosley and Mike Edghill have been added to Coach Joan Sanchez’s staff at Union County College. Sanchez coached both of them while he served as an assistant at Felician College.

There was some staff movement at Kentucky Wesleyan that we missed. George Hemmingsen, who is in his second year on the staff, has moved into the top assistant role. Also, KWC hired Matt Fletcher and Grant Hemmingsen as assistants. Prior to coming to KWC, Fletcher was the head coach at South St. Paul High School in St. Paul, Minnesota for two seasons. Hemmingsen (who is the brother of George)was most recently at Minneapolis Southwest High School where he served as head assistant boys coach for two seasons.
