A few things that I’ve heard today…
• In the aftermath of the Blaine Taylor firing at Old Dominion yesterday comes the news that assistant Jim Corrigan will take over as the interim head coach. Corrigan is a Duke guy who has been an assistant at ODU for the past 19 seasons. His name has come up with a bunch of job openings over the past few off-seasons. Not sure what his chances of getting the gig on a permanent basis, but the remaining eight games should be a good indicator.
• I’ve heard from a good source that Sean Ellis is no longer on the staff at Northern Colorado (I just checked… his bio has been removed from the website). He had been there since 2005. No word on what happened – can anyone out there shed some light on this one?
• I can confirm that Lenny Stanziano is no longer the head coach at Neumann University (PA). Stanziano was in his fourth season at the school (54-50). Assistant coach Joe Rapczynski has taken over as the interim head coach.
