It’s going to be a busy week in the “dirt” world. I’ve got good money on a SoCon and a SWAC (or two) opening up by mid-week. Here are two quickies to start us off…
• I can confirm that Damaine Powell is out as the head coach at Cal-State Dominguez Hills. He had been the head coach there since 2004. The AD is also out – sounds like some wild stuff going on there….
• I can also confirm that Kellen Zawadzki has taken over as the head coach at Cincinnati Christian University. He replaced former head coach Ken Tracy and will continue as the head coach next season. His squad won their conference championship, and will be headed to the NAIA DII tournament. CCU will be looking to hire a part-time assistant once the season ends.
