Story: Adam Nelson (@HD_DirtKing)
Just a few quick things to start the day…
I have heard that Colby College head coach Sean Rutigliano is in the mix for a spot on Casey Alexander’s new staff at Kansas State. Rutigliano worked for Alexander at Belmont for six seasons prior to taking over at Colby last summer. He has also been an assistant at Lipscomb and Army.
The Parker-led search at Georgia State is in full swing, with initial interviews about to get underway. It sounds like guys with head coaching experience will be given priority.
New Charlotte AD Kevin White has the search to replace Aaron Fearne moving at warp speed. Wes Miller is the hot name here right now. The former Cincinnati head coach played at North Carolina (2004-07), and spent ten seasons as the head coach at UNC Greensboro (2011-21) where he went 185-135. More on this one shorty.
I can confirm that there are two spots open on Chris Kraus’ staff at Stonehill (don’t worry about who left, just trust me that there are two spots available). Both positions are full-time with benefits, and one will have an operations component to it. Sounds like these are wide open. (Pro tip: get your stuff to Coach Kraus ASAP if interested).
It sounds like William Hines is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D2 Reid State. This past season the Lions went 16-16 (7-9).
