I have heard that Army has wrapped up second round interviews, and a decision is looming. One name that I keep hearing is George Washington assistant Zak Bosivert. He is a former assistant at Army (2016-21), who has also worked at Indiana State, Maine, Fairleigh Dickinson and Iona.
Interesting names popping up at NC A&T. Some that I have heard include Florida State assistant Steve Smith, Memphis assistant (and former Miami, Missouri, Tulsa head coach) Frank Haith, long-time NBA player and former Memphis assistant Rasheed Wallace, and Alcorn State assistant (and former North Carolina A&T, South Carolina State and Tennessee State head coach) Cy Alexander.
Some names that I’ve heard at High Point are Marquette assistant Neill Berry (a former High Point assistant), and Wake Forest assistant Jason Shay (former head coach at ETSU). One current head coach from in the league also lurking.
