A couple quickies to get the week started…

• I have heard USC Salkehatchie head coach Travis Garrett’s name come up surrounding the opening at Claflin (SC) College. Garrett at been at USC Salkehatchie for the past six seasons. He has worked as a DI assistant at both Northeastern and Bethune-Cookman.

• I can confirm that East Central (OK) head coach Mac McConnell is out. He was suspended (and later reinstated) during the season following an DUI arrest. The “hot” name right now to replace McConnell is former Southeast Missouri head coach Scott Edgar. He recently wrapped up his third season at Eastern Oklahoma State. He has also been the head coach at Murray State and Duquesne.
