A few things to start the day…I expect another busy afternoon – stay tuned!

• I can confirm that Enrico Mastroianni is out as the head coach at DII Georgian Court University (NJ). Mastroianni was named as the first-ever men’s basketball coach at GCU in August of 2012. He spent a full year recruiting before the team started play in 2013. His first team went 2-24, last season they improved to 5-21. Mastroianni was the head coach at Centenary (NJ) for four years before coming to GCU.

• I can also confirm that Bill Raynor is no longer the head coach at Mass Bay CC (MA), but will remain as the Athletic Director. Raynor spent five seasons as the head coach at Holy Cross (1994-99) before coming to Mass Bay. I have heard that he has already started interviews for his replacement.

• I have heard that an NY DIII in the Skyline Conference has opened. I should have more on this shortly.
