Ittawamba CC head coach Marty Cooper retired last month (http://hoopdirt.com/news/c4e75a40/cooper-resigns-at-icc/…) and the search for his replacement has heated up. I’ve heard that the two leaders for the job are current East Mississippi CC head coach Mark White and current Jones County CC head coach Bubba Skelton. White has won a ton of games at EMCC since 2007. He spent five seasons as an assistant at Mississippi before that. Skelton, like White, has won a lot at the JC level. Not only is he winning at JCJC, he went 198-56 at NW Mississippi JC (1999-2006). Sounds like two pretty good candidates for the ICC gig.

We have posted the North Dakota State Director of Operations job in our jobs section. I’ve heard that the posting is just a formality however. Current DBO Jared Swanson was hired late last fall. According to school policy, they needed to officially advertise the position, and have him formally apply for it. There is no reason to believe that he won’t keep his job.
