A few tings that I’ve heard today…

• It sounds like we’ll have confirmation on which search firm that Drake is using today. Back in 2013, AD Sandy Hatfield Clubb hired Eddie Fogler to do the search that landed Ray Giacoletti. I’ll pass along the confirmation as soon as I hear.

• I can confirm that Fisher College (MA) head coach David Lindberg will resign. He has been the head coach of the Falcons for the past twelve seasons and finished this season with a 20-9 record. Word is that he will be staying on at the school in a role with the office of admissions.

• I have heard that Dan DeWitt is out as the head coach at Mayville State (ND). There has been no reason given for his departure. The former GA under Tubby Smith at Minnesota had just completed his fifth season at the school. More on this one when it becomes official.

• The College of the Redwoods (CA) head coach Justin Mora has resigned. He had been the head coach at the college for the past six seasons. He will be replaced by the schools women’s basketball coach Aaron Hungerford. A former men’s assistant at Humboldt State, Hungerford led the women’s team to a 6-19 record this past season.
