A few things that I’ve heard…
I can confirm that D2 New Mexico Highlands head coach Zach Settembre has inked a three-year extension. Settembre took over last spring after a stint as an assistant at Tarleton State. An official announcement on this one is expected in the next day or two. NMHU is also adding an associate head coach to replace Noah Breitenstein (departed for Houston Christian). This hire will come from within the RMAC – more here soon.
It sounds like Obi Agomo will take over as the head basketball coach at D3 Westminster College (MO). Agomo has been an assistant at DePauw since 2022, and was an assistant at Central College (IA) five seasons before that. An official announcement here is expected soon.
John Redman is no longer the head coach at NJCAA D1 Northwest Mississippi CC. Redman took over at the school last April after a seven year run as an assistant at Delta State. The Rangers went 18-12 (7-7) last season. More on this once it’s made official.
I have heard from multiple sources that Gabriel Rutledge is no longer the head coach at NAIA Webber International (FL). Rutledge, a WIU alum had been the Warriors head coach for the past six seasons, and was an assistant at the school for four seasons before that.
The search at D3 Alvernia is done. I’ve heard the new head coach will meet the team today. Stay tuned..
Ethan Quinn is no longer an assistant at D3 Denison. He had been on the Big Red staff for the past five seasons, and also spent two seasons as an assistant at Ohio Dominican.
There is a Northeast D1 looking for a walk on big. Shoot me a text if you have someone who can fill the role – 208-495-4129.
