A few small college search updates…
D2 Lincoln Memorial University (TN): I can confirm that Tony Jasick will be the choice here. The veteran coach spent the last part of the 2024-25 season as the interim head coach at Stephen F. Austin and also served as the head coach at Purdue Ft. Wayne (2011-14) and Jacksonville (2014-21). Jasick holds a Master’s Degree from Lincoln Memorial. Sounds like an official announcement will be made this week.
D3 Messiah University (PA): It sounds like this search has also wrapped, and the leader here is Emory associate head coach Jacob Fleegle. Fleegle has been at Emory since 2021, and has also served as an assistant at Pennsylvania D3’s Juniata, Carnegie Mellon, and Waynesburg. An announcement here is expected early this week.
D3 Colby-Sawyer College (NH): I have heard that this one is down to a group of 3-5. The names that I’ve heard here include: New England College assistant Shannon Sciria (a former CSC assistant), Johns Hopkins Assistant Jack Barrett, St. Joe’s (CT) assistant Tyler Olander, Colby assistant Denis Tobin, Wheaton College assistant Alex DuBrow, and a current small college head coach from New England. Not sure on the timeline here.
NAIA Dakota State (SD): I can confirm that the choice here is Dakota Wesleyan head coach Kevin Williamson. After taking over at DWU last spring, Williamson led his squad to a 20-10 record and an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament. Prior to his time with the Tigers, he served as the head coach at the University of Saint Katherine, where he went 83-42 record with three NAIA tournament appearances. This one is expected to be made official this week.
