A couple of quickies to start the day…
• I have talked about the College of Southern Idaho search a few times in the last week. Yesterday, I mentioned that it was offered to one of the three candidates over the weekend – James Miller (New Mexico JC Head Coach), Norm Parrish (Utah DBO), and Jared Phay (North Idaho College Head Coach (http://www.hoopdirt.com/blog/9b6d6004/daily-dirt-4-28-14/…). Two sources are now saying that Phay is the one who has received the offer. No word yet on whether he has accepted – more on this as I hear it.
• I have heard that South Georgia Technical College head coach Steven Wright has resigned and will pursue opportunities outside of basketball. He had been the head coach there for the past eight seasons, and was an assistant there for five seasons before that. I have heard that the search for his replacement is already underway.
