Some mid-week DIRT…
- I’m adding a few names to my original LIST at Wake Forest from Saturday. It now sounds like Harvard’s Tommy Amaker and Northwestern’s Chris Collins are in play here. I’ve also heard that some guys on my original list have already spoken to Wake: Wes Miller (UNCG), Ryan Odom (UMBC), and Steve Forbes (ETSU). This one is moving quickly.
- It sounds like Columbia assistant Jared Czech could joining Joe Scott’s new staff at Air Force. Czech has been at Columbia since 2016, and has also been an assistant at NJIT. He was a GA for Scott at Denver in 2013-14.
- I have heard that Zoom interviews are underway this week at D2 Lincoln University (PA). The names that I’ve heard are:
- Antwain Banks – Assistant Coach Alabama A&M
- Michael Grant – Former Head Coach Coppin State & Southern
- Clifford Reed – Former Head Coach UMES & Bethune Cookman
- James Wilhelmi – Former Head Coach Winston-Salem State
- A current SIAC Head Coach
