I’m headed out on a field trip with my daughters second grade class…wish me luck! Here are a few quick things that I’ve heard – more later today if I survive this outing…

• It sounds like Binghamton assistant Andrew Wilson will join Mark Byington at Georgia Southern. Wilson worked with Byington on Bobby Cremins staff at the College of Charleston. He is also a Georgia native.

• I have heard that Drake assistant Chris Brazelton is involved with a spot on the new staff at San Jose State. Brazelton joined the Drake staff this past season after spending the previous five at UC Riverside.

• I mentioned yesterday that Butler DBO Darnell Archey was headed to South Alabama to join Matthew Graves. I have now heard that his replacement at Butler will be former Butler point guard Brandon Miller. He served as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Illinois this past season. He was previously an assistant at Ohio State and Butler before sitting out the 2011-12 season.
