On the move again today – here’s a very quick Daily Dirt…
I can confirm that new FDU head coach Tobin Anderson will hire Jack Castleberry has his top assistant. Castleberry had been on the staff at The Citadel since 2016, starting as the DBO and working his way up to associate head coach / recruiting coordinator. After the Citadel staff was not retained this spring, Castleberry briefly hooked on at rising D1 member Queens University of Charlotte. An official announcement is expected shortly.
I mentioned the finalists at D2 Converse University (SC) yesterday (DAILY DIRT). I have now heard from multiple sources that the choice has been made, and the current unnamed D2 head coach that I alluded to yesterday got it. I will roll with the name later this morning when I get the green light. **UPDATE: Got the green light – here’s the name: D2 DIRT.**
I have heard that a decision at D3 NYU is imminent. I should have the name shortly. My list of finalists is HERE.
