Friday the 13th’s Daily Dirt….

More names keep surfacing at Texas A&M. Murray State’s Billy Kennedy, Northern Iowa’s Ben Jacobson, and Harvard’s Tommy Amaker have all been mentioned today as possible targets. I can confirm that Nebraska head coach Doc Sadler has not been contacted about the opening.

Former Colorado State University-Pueblo head coach Patrick Eberhart will be added as an assistant at Nebraska-Omaha. He went 76-89 in six seasons at CSU-Pueblo. He was an assistant at Colorado State before that.

I’ve heard that Felician College assistant Joan Sanchez is in the mix for the vacant position at DIII Hunter College. Sanchez is a NYC guy who was the head coach at Concordia (NY) College.

Speaking of small colleges, DIII Emerson College (MA) is speaking with a former NBA head coach and a former high major head coach. There is also a former DII head coach and a former ivy league assistant involved here (I’ve been sworn to secrecy on the names here – email me if you want the details!) Interesting to see how this one will play out. Sounds like a decision will be made in the next week or so.
