Some assistants on the move today…..

I’ve heard that Georgia Southern assistant Chris Kreider is going to join Paul Hewitt’s staff at George Mason. Kreider worked for Hewitt in an administrative role at Georgia Tech. He has been an assistant at GSU under former Georgia Tech assistant Charlton Young for the past two seasons.

It sounds like Southern Mississippi assistant Greg Heiar is headed to Witchita State to assume a similar position. Heiar was also the head coach at Chipola JC, where he went 164-15. Before taking the reigns at Chipola, he was an assistant there under Chris Jans (who is now an assistant at Witchita State).

St. Peter’s assistant Dalip Bhatia is involved with an opening at Army. He has been at St. Peter’s for the past three seasons – the first two in an administrative role, and last year as an assistant.
