Today’s dirt…
• It sounds like Harvard assistant Brian Adams may be headed to Marist to join new head coach Jeff Bowers staff. Before joining the Harvard staff two seasons ago, he worked as a video guy for the Celtics. It seems that he has parlayed his NBA connections to hook up with Bower (a former NBA head coach and GM).
• I have heard that Chris Sartorius, who has been a graduate assistant at both Missouri and Arkansas is in the mix to become the third assistant at Central Arkansas. He also worked for Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson as a student manager at Missouri.
• Multiple people have told me that Transylvania University (KY) assistant Matthew Martin has resigned and will become the head boys’ head basketball coach at Bourbon CountyHS (KY). He had been on staff at Transy for the past three seasons.
• I have heard that Columbus State CC (OH) Pat Carlisle was offered the head coach position at East Central CC (MS), but has turned it down. Carlisle is 160-59 in his 7 seasons at CSCC including a 2008 NJCAA National Final appearance. Not sure where ECCC will turn next.
